The New Codgers

Hello, I'm Daisy (and I found this computer unattended)

Daisy PortraitHi, I’m Daisy!  Jay invited me over last night, he’s pretty nice for a people-dog (I think people are dogs too). He takes me for walks. He doesn’t really mind if I jump up on him—even though he tells me to “geddoff” in a gruff, yet kind voice.

Daisy beagle on leashThis is me the first day at the Boardmanpack. I was convinced that I could break free of that leash thing. I soon learned there were toys inside the big dog-house: shoes, socks, chair legs for some reason my people-dogs disagreed.

Puppy on FutonMy people-dogs thought I was sleeping (“Lookit her, she’s sooo cute when she’s sleeping”) Cute? Absolutely! Sleeping? No, I was plotting my next bit of mischief!

Sometimes my people-dogs subjected me to extreme doggie-embarrassment.Embarrassed Daisy

Daisy & LouieLast year my little Beagle-friend Louie escaped from his people-pack and came to visit! He’s a nice little guy and we had fun ‘til his people-dogs came by to take him home.

This is my best friend in the whole world, Ringo! He comes by with his  people-dog Brendan to playRingo with me.

Oh-oh, I hear people-dog Jay coming—better get off the computer and get into myInnocent Daisy innocent pose (it works every time).

Good Morning Guys-

I like the dog - but the flowered jacket-thingy?

I'll bet the other dogs laughed at him that day......

Good writing Daisy girl, keep it up.

Marc ... Daisy is a girl.... a daisy is a flower... I thought it was cute... I can't get my dog Buddy to wear a sweater or jacket   either.  He would not wear one with daisies on it because he is a boy, or was a boy before we had him altered.  He'd want to wear something macho...or not wear something macho... he would not be caught dead wearing daisies....

Did you add this to Toby's group, Dog Lovers?  :)

This was a great way to wake up in the morning! Daisy I hope you make them take you for lots of walks; especially when it's cold : -)  You and Brendan make a nice couple.  Jack looks like he'd like to come over and play.

Daisy!  Off, stay off the the computer, we told you and told you and are telling you again!  No computer, bad doggie, you know the rules!  Shame on you Jay!

Teresa: I have more trouble with the cat getting on the computer than the dog... walking across the keyboard... he was just adopted from the Humane Society last spring and according to what they had he was a stray on the streets of the west side of Columbus, a real alley cat. He likes computers though.  I had a lot of trouble with the cat stealing anything I print out from the computer at first but he seems to have recovered from that.  I had to retrieve listings from him a few times, unwrinkle them and give them to clients with little kitty bite marks in them. My dog now has developed a fear of the printer.  The sound makes him anxious. It never did before.  It may be that he thinks the cat is going to pounce on the desk, grab the paper and run off with me chasing, yelling:

"Caesar kitty... bring that back here, I need that for an appointment.. please don't wrinkle it...#$&8!"

Jay, That Daisy is quite writer and a real cutie. Very entertaining post.

Jay, if your Daisy is anything like my Daisy, we are both in for a lot of trouble.  My Daisy is a bassett hound that just loves to dig and chew.  Thank goodness we have plenty of property for her because if it was a small yard, there is no amount of cuteness that could save her. :)

So what is Daisy's pen name?  Is she a member on AR or does she post anonymously?

Hi Daisy, I'm Armando, looks like it's critter day on the net. Oh, oh, gotta run...

Daisy belongs to “Boomer Jack” & “Realtor®” Teresa Boardman (or perhaps they belong to her). She is my little walking buddy and sometimes I can coerce the Boardmans into letting me take her overnight.

She really has no concept of a “pen name,” and was on the computer while I was preparing to go to the coffee shop. I’ve simply got to remember to shut down the computer when she is visiting—she just can’t help herself.

No surprise that Daisy was online, she probably has a little Snoopy in her bloodline. "It was a dark and stormy night ..."

Daisy, Welcome to the Rain! I liked your first blog.  Your'e cute like me. If you lived closer we could play together and I would let you ride in the car with me and run on the beach. You just can't play with my rawhide chewies. OK?

Come back soon, Bella

Roberta: The Boardmans watch their computers PRETTY CLOSELY now. Next time she visits me for an overnight, I'll accidentally leave the computer on so she can reply.
